Avon

So today I'm working on getting my Avon order in. I just started selling Avon earlier this year. I think I'm doing pretty good. My mom sells in Buckhannon for me, while I sell in Manassas. If you would like a book please let either my mom or I know and we will get you one. :) I realize that the economy is tough and that people just don't have money so I don't get angry when people don't order. I just wonder about things. I'm currently offering a free contest on my Avon face book page. AVON By Kiley and have sent an invitation to all my friends. All they have to do is suggest my site to their friends until I hit 100 people who like the page. Keep in mind that the contest is free and there is no purchase necessary to win. What I'm confused about is that a lot of people don't want to do it. I mean I'm not trying to steal any customers from any other reps, but just want 100 people to like the page and to get the Avon brand out there even more. And if it leads to a sale for me, then yeah if not that's fine. What I wonder is why not take two minutes from playing Farmville or whatever game you like and suggest a page to your friends and possibly win something if they click Like on the page. That's how simple the contest is. Well I've ranted and raved about this now it's out of my system. Thanks for listening. Have a great day :)

First Snow of the Year in the Richmond Area

Well, my kids are happy.  They get to sleep in tomorrow since they have a snow day. We got our first snow of the year this weekend with any real accumulation.   We probably got around 3-6 inches, I'm not real great as measuring the amount. On an exciting note, we finally got to use the snow blower that we purchased last year. Yeah!!!!  We got it last year and then it never snowed again, doesn't that figure. LOL.  Well, Jenna and I took it out and dug out the driveway and front walkway in under 3 hours. Which is a vast improvement from the 6+ hours last year that Keith, Jenna and I worked to get the cars out. Alyson went out to play in the snow and lasted maybe 1/2 hour.
