Missing the Bug and Bear

Well, the kids have been in WV for about a week now. Yes, I'm going crazy without them. Luckily, we have the wonderful ability to see them through Skype. The girls seem to be enjoying their time with their grandparents.

My mom is trying to help us out by attempting to get Aly potty-trained. She is fighting me tooth and nail on this. I don't think that she can't do it, I just think that she is being stubborn. Not that I know where she would get that from.

They will come home just before Aly's third birthday. I can't believe that she is going to be three already. I feel like I just had her yesterday and before I know it, she'll be leaving us for college. And I don't even want to think about how fast Andrea is growing up.

Andrea will be 10 on 9/15/11. It's just so hard to say and so hard for me to read. She is growing up so fast and there is nothing that I can do to stop it. She wants to be a baby doctor and has since she was a really little kid.

We got some news on her tests. The doctor had her tested for hyper-thyroidism. Her levels seem fine. Now I'm trying to get the results of a bone test that she had done a couple of years ago. The doctor is now trying to find out if she has cystic fibrosis. I really hope that she doesn't. I just want to know why she is so little.

Well for the last week of our kid freedom, J and I are going to celebrate our anniversary, which was in May. We are celebrating by going to a Bare Naked Ladies Concert. :)

Hope everyone has a great month and enjoy your kids while they are little. It really doesn't last long.
