3rd Week of March

Well, today is Jenna's birthday.  Happy Birthday Baby!!!! 😻

I am a bit late but this weekend was again devoted to classwork. I am in the homestretch. Check out my blog related to school My Journey into the Accounting World.

The kids are in full swing of their third quarter in school. It's hard to believe that Dre will be in 10th next year and Aly will be in 4th.  Where has the time gone???

Well we've had a busy week last week.  Alyson is working on a project for school called a bottle buddy. If you're not sure what that is, google it and your world will be enlightened. 😺

Dre also had a busy week. She got her learner's permit last week on the 15th. So proud of her. She is an amazing young lady, guess I really should calling her a kid. She hasn't been little in some time. 😿My baby girl is growing up on me. I am very sad.  She is doing really great in photography. I love her prints. She will be starting a photography page soon.  I will put the link when I have it.

Jenna and I have just been working, working, and more working. Not much else to report. I just wish my house didn't look like a disaster area, but we are working on it. Eventually it will look better.

Well,  short update this week. I will try to update again next week!!!

First Snow of the Year in the Richmond Area

Well, my kids are happy.  They get to sleep in tomorrow since they have a snow day. We got our first snow of the year this weekend with any real accumulation.   We probably got around 3-6 inches, I'm not real great as measuring the amount. On an exciting note, we finally got to use the snow blower that we purchased last year. Yeah!!!!  We got it last year and then it never snowed again, doesn't that figure. LOL.  Well, Jenna and I took it out and dug out the driveway and front walkway in under 3 hours. Which is a vast improvement from the 6+ hours last year that Keith, Jenna and I worked to get the cars out. Alyson went out to play in the snow and lasted maybe 1/2 hour. She came in and told me she was done with it. She said that "you can't get anything done outside because it so cold".  That made me laugh. Dre didn't want anything to do with the weather. Catching up yet again

I haven't been on here in so long. I have had a busy few months. I was working for a while but then our sitter quit. So I'm now staying at home with Aly and Andi. Aly is growing really fast and is talking up a storm. Some words are really distinguishable and some just sound like a new language. We are trying to potty train her and she is resisting. Maybe she's not ready. Andrea is in the middle of her own battle, her weight. For those of you who know us, she has always been little. Well, after speaking with the doctor about this issue, we were trying pedia sure. (That stuff is expensive.) Almost a year later she has only really gained like a pound. So now the doctor wants to have her blood checked for a thyroid problem. She may have hyperthyroidism, or that is what he is thinking. well, any thoughts are appreciated.
