Crazy Weather, Sick Family, and Other Oddities

Well,  I now have successfully posted twice in a row again.  I think my longest streak was like 4 in a row. I wonder if I can beat that now.  I'm getting back on track with my classes. I have worked my tail off the past two weekends on assignments that needed turned in. I'm still very backed up on the reading but with not worrying about the assignments as much, then I can concentrate on my homework. Once I finish these two classes, then I will only have 6 more to go to finish my Bachelor's :).   Oh Happy Day!  Then I continue on for my Master's.  FML

But enough about school, you can read more about it at My Journey Into the Accounting World .  I love to know that people are reading, and would love to have some comments check it out.

For the last month or so that is supposed to be winter, the weather has been a topic of discussion.  Here in central VA, we can quite literally see all four seasons in a week. It's CRAZY!  We are currently in a cold spell right now, I truly believe that it could snow. I just checked the weather and it's calling for potential snow Tuesday/Wednesday. (Doesn't it figure I'm off on both of those days)

The family are a various stages of illness. Alyson is mostly over the flu. Jenna and I are feeling much better. And then today Dre wakes up feeling like crap.  She has only recently ran a fever, she took medicine for it. However, she also says that she has a sore throat.  Keep us all in your thoughts.

The 10th marked the day that I resigned from my last job at Quest Diagnostics. I will celebrate one year with Capital One on the 14th. I'm glad that I decided to leave Quest. I have really enjoyed the last year at Cap One and look forward to working for them for as long as they will have me or I change directions.

Also, tomorrow the 13th marks one year for Jenna to be a Process Coordinator.  Yeah!

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed this bird's eye view of our life.

Stay warm and healthy!
