More Than A Month Away..... Did You Miss Me?
Ok, the last time I posted, we had just had family pictures done. I still haven't posted any more up. I am a slacker.
We had a pretty good March and April continues to be good. Jenna's birthday was in March and she took the day off. Everyone should take their birthday off, I honestly think companies should enforce such a law. The likelyhood that several employees has the same birthday is very small.... but I digress. Kings Dominion opened at the end of March and we took the girls. We have season passes. We also got their trampoline up in the backyard. It is pretty cool.
April started and then the kids were on Spring Break. Two more trips to KD and a camping trip that got rained out. I think they had a good time. Lately, we have been living our daily lives with a few cool things here and there.
After 4 years of saving tickets for Chuck E Cheese, the kids turned them in last night. Andrea got the biggest slinky I have ever seen. And of course we sent it down the deck stairs to see how far it would go. So cool. Alyson shocked me and got a Skylanders set from megablocks (over MLP and princess stuff).
The girls are finished with 3rd quarter in school. The report cards come home tomorrow. I'm not worried.
Andrea has been put up for all honors courses next year. We are extremely proud of her. She is such a smart kid. If only she wouldn't doubt herself so much.
Alyson has came leaps and bounds this year with her speech and writing. She has always read well so that was never an issue.
Jenna has been working and doing well in her new job. I am so proud of her. I know that it is not a x-ray job and not in her field but at this point it's a decent job and pays pretty well. Why knock it? No good reason as far as I'm concerned. She has also been working out. This is for many reasons, to improve her health and to feel better about herself.
I have also been trying to be more active. Hence one of the many reasons I haven't posted. The other major reasons is that I have two kids, one wife, a full-time job, a house to take care of and full time school. Saying I'm busy is a bit of an understatement. Sleep is a luxury.
Well one more quarter of school for the kids and then it's summer.
Hope your spring is as fun as ours has been. I will try to post more frequently, but who am I kidding, I like sleep more.
