Post Xmas and Pre New Years

Happy New Years!

I have been more regular with the posting. One reason is because of school.  I am really trying to stay on task and to post weekly in my other blog.  My Accounting Journey.  Please read and any thoughts or encouragement are greatly appreciated.  Another reason is that this blog helps me to remember things that have happened with the family and thtat way I am able to share with you. My lovely reader. :)

Ok, so Xmas has happened. :) It has been a busy vacation for the kids. It is halfway over and they have been doing all kinds of things.  They each got a fair amount of stuff from Santa and they also got a bunch of stuff from my in-laws. They really seemed to like all of their gifts. Jenna and I are going to be getting them some stuff from us once she gets paid. $$$$$

Andrea this year was really difficult to buy for. She's at that awkward age where kid toys aren't for her but she's not quite an adult. So what do you get a 13 year old that has everything? Board games in my house. This has been a great way for the family to spend some really nice time together.   Also, she loves money.  What teenager doesn't?  NONE!

Alyson had a blast for Xmas. She got so much stuff that everything was "something she always wanted."  LOL  She is a ball of energy and I love her so stinking much.  She got lots of toys, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, and My Little Pony (her favorite).

Jenna and I got a really awesome set of T-fal cookware from the parents and I love them. Jenna also got some earrings and a necklace. I got some candy and also a early birthday present from Keith and Linda. For my birthday, which is January 28th, Linda found a chopper thing similar to what she has that I think is just the coolest freaking thing. And everyone got some sort of clothing.

Now we are preparing for New Years. Well, I guess there is not too much to prepare for. I am making homemade lasagna for that day. Guess I should get the ingredients. :)

I hope that this post finds you looking forward to the new year and to any resolutions that you decide to make.

Happy New Years!!!

Happy 2015!!!!
